Do we need a website?

What is the first steps on developing a website?
If you are planning to develop a website you need to put together a clear brief before you approach a web developer. This should include the following:

- Structure and content - Try to talk to members of the target audience about what content and functionality they would find useful.

What are the maintenance costs on a website?
Once a site is completed there are no maintenance costs associated with the site. There are however, web hosting expenses and content management services. Web hosting expenses give you an Internet presence 24/7. It also allows you to accept e-mails from prospects and clients. Content management services will be update regularly to provide more new features and template design.
My friend says he can get a web design package cost below RM 300 for unlimited pages. Should I just use them?
You will need to ask: Will he or she put a great deal of effort into the design? Does he or she have sufficient skills and experience to deliver what you want? Will the website look professional? Will they fix problems when you need them to? Can they grow with you as your business grows?

What is web hosting?
Web hosting is your presence on the Internet. It is where your unique domain name is located and where you store your web files, allowing access to your site 24/7.
Do you transfer files to my Web site or do I?
Files can be transferred to your web site by our staff or by yourself, using an FTP (File Transfer Protocol ) client.
Is there a charge to change or update my site?
There is no charge if you have a self-editable web site where you can access the site, with user ID and password security, and type in changes as often as you like. In the event you want our support staff to make the changes for you there are hourly costs associated. Our support staff will be glad to assist you with any changes.
Is it mandatory to learn HTML to maintain my web site?
No. You can update your site without any advanced HTML knowledge if you using our content management system. However, it is advisable to have know HTML if you want to update your website manually.
Do you offer consulting?
Yes we do. Our Free Initial consultation is to understand your company and your project. In addition, we also offer more in-depth consultations for a fee to those companies that need help in formulating their e-strategy.
